This unique five-day international case competition at the University of Alberta (UAlberta) unites passionate students from diverse backgrounds to tackle real-world challenges faced by local not-for-profit organizations.

As a leading student business case competition, it offers an immersive experience where participants develop innovative strategies that drive meaningful community impact. The event celebrates the vital role of the not-for-profit sector while fostering collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills among tomorrow’s changemakers competing for top honors.

AECC gathers students from various disciplines and countries to tackle challenges for local not-for-profits. Competing teams apply their global perspectives and cross-disciplinary expertise to tackle a challenge presented by a local not-for-profit, creating meaningful solutions that support the mission and growth of community-driven organizations.
